Seed starting leads to dirty hands!

Lynn dropped in today, to chat about the season, check out the still-frozen fields, and do a little seed starting. Our first broccoli and cauliflower of the year, well, that’d be Lynn, helping to get things rolling. On the tiny farm, it’s all about PEOPLE!

Weekly CSA harvest shares...
CSA update

Field report: The last three weeks of beautiful, old-time-August weather continues. A couple of nights of frost last weekend killed off most of the beans, squash, peppers and tomatoes, while row cover saved some. But everything else in the field is doing well!

CSA share pick-up:
SAT: Peterborough Farmers' Market, Lakefield Organics stand, 7am-1pm
MON: on the farm, noon-6pm
Note: On holiday Mondays, pick-up is on Tuesday.
